Wonderful venue, but an audience not really warm. May we change this this time ?

A Mark Knopfler night at the Albert Hall is always something special. Tonight was no difference, though it took him quite some time to get into his play. The second half was amazing and made me look forward to the following night!

What a brilliant night. Being 16 years old I feel lucky to have seen Mark and the band 3 times now, and I think this concert was the best. The whole band looked like they were having a great time. As did the audience, even if a little reserved at times. I don't know if anyone else noticed a slight echo from the drums, particularly from the snare. But maybe it was just where i was seated. However, this didn't spoil the show. I don't think I could pick a highlight; every song was really superb. In particular I thought true love will never fade sounded better than the album version, and the "rockier" version of going home was sublime; a perfect way to end a concert. So thankyou Mark and this wonderful band for such a wonderful evening.
