Ok, My second review. Now I was with 3 friends of my. And yeah, It was Brilliant! We were on standing places first rank. I made a lot of short movies from the solo's! The sound is good, but the video not, because I stand too far of the stage. Sorry for my bad english :P Pictures of 16 april: http://www.myhattrickcup.nl/TIJDELIJK Movies are not yet online. Add me to msn: stefanesselink@hotmail.com I'd like to talk about THE MAN ;) -Inmiddels de concerten van 16 en 17 april op mp3 :D-

à bientôt pour des échanges autour de ce superbe concert. arnaud LADIES AND GENTLEMEN : I GOT IT : A SUPERB VIDEO FROM THIS CONCERT AND AS I AM NOT SELFISH I WILL DO SOME EXCHANGES WITH LOTS OF PEOPLE TO SHARE THESE PRECIOUS MOMENTS...LAST NIGHT WAS A DREAM IN ROTTERDAM

WITH MY WIFE I WAS THE 17TH IN AHOY TO SEE MK. WHAT A CONCERT ! WE SAT AT THE LEFT SIDE FROM THE STAGE AND HAD A GREAT VIEW AT MARK AND HIS FRIENDS. A GOOD SETLIST, A PITY THEY DID NOT PLAY OUR SHANGRI-LA. WE WERE ALSO AMAZED ABOUT THE AGES OF THE FANS. WE SAW SOME GRANDMA'S AND GRANDPA'S. WE HOPE WE CAN SEE HIM ABOUT ONE OR TWO YEARS AGAIN.

Standing in front row, this was the best MK-solo gig I've ever seen. Much better than the GH and STP gigs. It seems that the band (and MK) are having more and more fun than in the past. Songs were delivered with more power and more energy. 'Sultans' rocked really, the sound of de Fender Signature Strat is amazing, suits the song much better than the Pensa-guitars. The outro of 'Sultans' was a bit different from previous versions I've heard from the SL-tour, but the real fans immediatelly recognized the famous guitarlicks as played on 'Alchemy'. For some people it was a pity that they didn't play 'Our Shangri-La', but finishing a gig with the Local Hero tune is much better. That's tradition, a MK/DS gig without finishing it with the Local Hero theme isn't a real one...... And now waiting for June the 1st...my next one. Really looking forward to it.

Hi all, I was in Rotterdam (17th) too. The show was absolutely breathtaking. Mark Knopfler's band was amazing, and so was Mark. Highlight of the evening for me was Romeo & Juliet even though this is not my favorite Straits song, another highlight was Telegraph Road. I went to one of the "Sailing to.." concerts a few years ago in the HMH, but Ahoy is much much better, the sound is less good that in the HMH, but the atmosphere was great. The setlist was also well chosen. Old stuff - New stuff - Old stuff. Hope today's show is just as great. Has anyone already picked up the Trawlerman's Song EP (recorded live in the studio)? No? Well you should :) ! Regards, Eric

Great Concert. Much better than I expected. Read on reviews that it seemed he was tired playing Walk of Life, but that wasn't tonight. Great to see people from 12 years - 70 years old. Speedway At Nazareth & Telegraph Road was the highlight of the concert amazing. The sound in the hall was excellent...

Nou mensen die vanavond er heen gaan VEEL PLEZIER Groetjes Glenn Coomans Ps voor reacties hierop mail me byebye Yesterday i was at a great concert of Mark Knopfler. Altough i wasn't a big fan of his music , i really enjoyed the show . And even with some songs i was silent .When he played Telegraph Road i was getting out of my head !! The only thing i didn't like was the they set the podium in darkness after each song, so you couldn't see Mark's face and reaction after he sang. Everyone who has tickets for tonight, lots of fun !! Greetz , Glenn Coomans Would you like to give a reaction on this ,feelfree to send me an email Transalation Thanx to Cara

One more great evening with Mark and his phantastic band. The large AHOY was filled with happy people who have seen a wonderful gig. Sound and atmosphere were very good. Mark played "Back to Tupelo", but not "Shangri-la". I think that everybody who was there has had an evening he (she) never forgets! Now I´m looking forward to the gig´s in Hamburg and Dortmund next weekend and in Cologne in June. Then I will have seen MK and his band 6 times on this tour and 14 times at all. And I loved every single concert!

Just perfect tonight, much better than yesterday in Amsterdam. HMH is built for sound, but Ahoy just beats it in my opinion!! Crowd was amazing too, for me this was the best concert I,ve ever seen and heard. No ending with Shangri-La this evening,(a great pity, and the only negative thing this evening), but Mist covered mountains/Local Hero at the end. Thanks Mark and Guy(s)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Setlist: 1. Why Aye Man 2. Walk Of Life 3. What It Is 4. Sailing To Philadelphia 5. Romeo & Juliet 6. Sultans Of Swing 7. Done With Bonaparte 8. Song For Sonny Liston 9. Donegans gone 10. Back to Tupelo 11. Boom, Like That 12. Speedway At Nazareth 13. Telegraph Road 14. Brothers In Arms 15. Money For Nothing 16. So Far Away 17. Mist covered mountains/Local Hero
