The set list was not different from the previous concerts in Europe. Without special surprises, Mark perfomed Why Aye Man, Walk Of Life, Sailing To Philadelphia, Done With Bonoparte, Rudiger. Sultans Of Swing was performed in new arrangement … I do not know, but I have heard so many versions of this hit … All fans waited for songs from the new album, and they were perfomed: Song For Sonny Liston, Donegan’s Gone and Boom, Like That with a new exellent final part. The concert has come to the end with strong versions of Speedway At Nazareth and Telegraph Road including good contributions from Danny Cummings and Matt Rolling. Encores included Brothers In Arms, Money For Nothing and So Far Away... Again, there were not any surprises …. On the one hand, many Russian fans expected a storm of emotions which were in 2001. It is necessary to remember that those concerts in Russia were final, Mark and his group has played with big enthusiasm and overdrive. This time Moscow and St.Petersburg were in the middle of the schedule. On the other hand the performance has made very pleasant impression. The sound was perfect. Perhaps, it is a result of excellent work of the sound producer. Perhaps, it was a good acoustic of New Ice Arena. In spite of his age, Mark is in a good form. Also I was glad to see Ìàtt Rolling. His style reminds Alan Clark’s style . Danny Cumming is good drummer, his perfomaces is perfect.
