What a brilliant night. Great sound, great lighting, all in all top notch entertainment. Songs which made the night for me were Telegraph Road, Sultans, Sailing to P and Bros in Arms. The only song missing that I would have liked to have heard is Love over Gold. An old favourite, but you cannot have everything. It has been 20 years since I saw Dire Straits live in Paris and I am pleased to say that MK is better now than they were back then. More relaxed. The music just flowed and they were obviously enjoying themselves. One thing is for sure I will not be leaving it another 20 years!

Generally a great performance. Highlights amongst highlights was Sultans Of Swing (Mark seemed to just love playing this really fresh and inspired), Rüdiger, Brothers In Arms and unexpectedly Money For Nothing which we've heard so many times in so many different ways but somehow this was the best version I'd ever heard and could visually see that Mark and band really enjoyed that one. Donegan's Gone was really great and he demonstrated that his omission over the years to play slide needs to be seriously addressed! However I got the impression that Mark was a little tired starting off tonight and decided not to have too much banter with the crowd throughout , however he picked up as the night went on and I felt he and the band was on a real high during the encores. They all especially Richard seem to really enjoy the crowds rush to the stage.

Enjoyed the show immensely. Great to hear the old favourites, but had to do some damage to the palms of my hands in order to hear Money For Nothing and Local Hero. Sound and Lighting were spectacular. Would have liked a bit more banter from the stage, but i guess Mark is the shy (if not quiet) type. Hope the rest of the tour goes well.
