Second night, better than the first one with Jools Holland as guest. Tonight "Baloney Again" replace "Your Latest Trick". Wise choice IMO as Robbie Macintosh do a wonderful work on that one.

A fantastic gig. Small intimate venue. Great to hear Brendan Croker sing "Feel Like Going Home" again. Loved "Quality Shoes". I could never tire of "Sultans Of Swing", it was good to hear it four-piece style. Sound was much better than last year at the Albert Hall on the STP tour.

Great concert, it seemed as if Mark and the band were having a really good time, playing in a venue slightly smaller than usual. The break on "What it is" when Mark, Chris and Bobby responded to each other on the guitar, flute and violin was absolutely outstanding. The only thing I would have preferred was a few more songs from the solo albums, including "Shot at Glory" and a few less Straits songs - but it was still a tremendous gig.

The gig was just fantastic. It was my first time at the Shepherds Bush Empire but although it is an old music hall (built 1902) the acoustics were absolutely fantastic and the band were as exceptional as ever. The first surprise was Jools Holland making a guest appearance as was Jimmy Nail later in the show. There was a part where the audience began chanting which was reminiscent of some of the European STP gigs in Spain, but as professional as ever, the band joined in and when the music stopped the cheers raised the rafters. Pure professionalism. However the highlight for me was meeting Guy Fletcher in the hospitality bar after the gig. What a nice chap he is. All present agreed that it was the best show ever.

I had the pleasure of attending the charity gig and Haven't seen Mark on tour since the STP tour. Top night. Brendan sang superbly. Special guests Jools Holland and Jimmy Nail B.V.s on Way Aye Man and So Far away and money for nothing. 2 hours set nice version of Going Home. I went away with a spring in my step. Tim
