I was there, amazing concert. I saw MK four years ago in Warsaw during STP tour and I was a little bit disapointed then, but this time everything was great. Maybe I didn't enjoy concert four years ago because of bad accoustic of Congress Hall in Warsaw. Sound in Spodek was great. Another thing - MK played excelent, fresh and clean, almost like in DS. I really enjoyed to hear his amazing guitar. Four years ago he didn't play so well, maybe he had much time for practise because of his accident and his long stay at home, who knows, but he played perfectly. Expecially SOS and Telegraph Road. All the rest of the songs was great too, Donegan's Gone, Song for Sonny Liston etc. On the contrary - Walk of Life - weak comparing to other things (guitar not loud enough, without begining which is well known but with some very good riffs in the middle). Romeo an Juliet very very nice, very well played by M. Rollins and MK of course. Good song chosen for the begining - Why Aye Man. Strong and solid played, very well sung by MK. This song sounded much better live than on the record. Done with Bonaparte and Rudiger also played very good. It was big pleasure to me to hear alll this songs. Final things, always the same, Brothers in Arms - personally I am little bored with this one, but this song is one of the greatest hits and simply has to be played, many people wait for it. Money for nothing - played in rock and roll style, very good, dynamic, I liked it. This is the best way to play this song. And my favourite - So far away, I love this one (strong chords at the beginning, played by R. Bennett, I think). At the end - the best way to say goodbye to everybody - Going Home. Very nice gift. When the band had finished this tune (MK and GF), people tried to call them once more, but we all knew that this was the end. Besides MK, two guys deserve special remarks - drummer (D. Cummins) and keyboard player (M. Rollins). First reminded me of P. Whiters and second reminded me of A. Clark. This band seems to be optimal, they sound like DS and this is great. MK very relaxed and self-confident. I really had a good time, this show was worth long traveling, 300 km, that I had to do to get to Katowice. Thank you very much, hope to see you again. Arek

Hi everybody!! It was amazing!! Mark and his crew got rocked! Show lasted 2 hours, but obviously crowd wanted more!Setlist was the same as on previous gigs, apart from the fact that Mark played Local Hero Wild Theme at the end, again. Mark's in a very good shape, he talked and joked a bit with the crowd ( tea :-) ), although Spodek as the venue itself is not a perfect place to play. Old hits sounded damn good, especially Sultans of Swing, Telegraph Road and Money for Nothing with a "guitar duel" at the end. Brothers in Arms - great as usually, Walk of Life - the same as above, although a bit slower,Romeo and Juliet, So Far Away - class of itself. Speedway at Nazareth was just knocking - I think it was gig's best piece!! Other STP songs - Sailing and What It Is - ok but What it is lacked some power. Although it's a Shangri-La tour, Mark played only 3 songs from the newesat album - Donegan's Gone, Boom Like That and Song for Sonny Liston. All in all - it was really a magnificient evening - I regret not going to Warsaw tonight!

Hi all, I have just returned home from Katowice and I am still very excited. All of Mark's advantages were present: perfection in playing, very good mood and unexpectedly his voice in good health so I hope there is a chance to hear Our Shangri-La again tomorrow in Warsaw. And a good news is that The Mist Covered Mountains/Wild Theme is back! Setlist: 1. Why Aye Man 2. Walk Of Life 3. What It Is 4. Sailing To Philadelphia 5. Romeo & Juliet 6. Sultans Of Swing 7. Done With Bonaparte 8. Song For Sonny Liston 9. Donegan's Gone 10. Rüdiger 11. Boom, Like That 12. Speedway At Nazareth 13. Telegraph Road 14. Brothers In Arms 15. Money For Nothing 16. So Far Away 17. The Mist Covered Mountains/Wild Theme I can't wait to hear all of them tomorrow. See ya! Markie
