I really don't rate Mark Knopfler. I rate Hardman even less.

This was such a thrilling experience. The hall's atmosphere was electric; the opening act (William Topley's Trio) were fantastically passionate, full on, rich. And Mark and the band's performance was just magical. I can't find the words to explain it.... and the classic Straits songs that he played were so brilliantly performed - the whole experience was just beyond words. Who loved Telegraph Road and Sultans Of Swing as much as I did? ;) And So Far Away near the end - that was so brilliant. And the point when the huge yellow lights switched to the audience - the whole crowd was dancing, clapping, singing, happy, energetic, and Mark was just smiling. Superb. I can't wait for another tour. Any time soon, perhaps? ;P
