Ab Fab. The whole band were really on form. Mark's guitar playing was as brilliant as ever. In fact he just seems to get better and better. Speedway? WOW!!! Best (and loudest) version I have ever heard. Thanks to Andrew, Sue and the girls for arranging the tickets.

This was a fantastic show with many memorable moments. Mark was on fire tonight and boy did he treat everyone. Disappointed there was only two songs from the new album but the songs he did play were great. Great to hear Hill Farmers Blues live and Marbletown was excellent, it went on for ever. MK did get annoyed a couple of times at fans recording the show. They did say before the show started that recording was not allowed and during Sultans and What it is he waved his finger and someone as to say stop recording. Only down part for me was when introducing John McCusker, someone shouted 'he's rubbish Mark' Dont think they heard him with their ear pieces in but he certainly wasn't rubbish, the opposite infact. Same setlist as previous nights, was hoping for a surprise but not to worry. Best song of the night, couldn't decide between Sailing to Philadelphia (my favourite DS/MK song) and Speedway at Narareth. Two totally different songs but both were amazing.

What a great show. We really enjoyed it and it seemed like the band did too. Great venue, much better than NEC (which is nearer to me, but sound is bad (i think)). Great reworks of DS classics. Favourite -"Telegraph Road" - At first was concerned that MK had given over some of the song where he would normally be putting in his first solos of that song, to other, but the effect was great. More than made up for by MK's fantastic ending solo. Would love him to do "Tunnel of Love" - long time since he's done this live. MK concert would not be the same without "Romeo & Juliet"... are you getting the feeling that Making Movies is near the top of favourite albumn list? Again as mentioned before, would like to have had some more new stuff from KTGC, but you can't have it all. Didn't like the way security stopped us going up to the stage after Telegraph road and told us to go back to our seats, then to left everyone up 2 minutes later. Amyway - got a great position mid-stage for the encores. 2 hours of a MASTER guitar player. Roll on next time. Keep going Mark!
